Planning your study around the TCAS calendar

How to split the months before TGAT and A-Level so you peak on exam day, not before.

A hand writing a plan into a planner

TCAS has several rounds and exams. Starting from the real calendar shows what to focus on when. Always check the latest dates on mytcas.com — they change every year.

1. Start from the faculty you want

Check which scores the faculty uses and their weighting, then share your time by that weighting — not by your favourite subject.

2. Work in three phases

  • Foundation: cover the full syllabus
  • Practice: chapter questions and a log of repeated mistakes
  • Timed: one or two full mock papers a week

And sleep enough — sleep is part of how memory works.
